CORONAVIRUS THREAD

Here is a thread of my opinions on the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and response to it.

(1/8)
I support the current lockdown measures and do not think they should be lifted now.

They are not totalitarian government take over, it's a response any rational person can see.

I do not support grug-brained conservatives demanding the country open up.

You can go a few more weeks without being a wage cuck.

Consumer confidence has been crushed by COVID19 and will not subside unless the disease is contained(relatively speaking).

The economic pain will have stop when the pandemic stops.

Opening up now will only bring a second wave of COVID19 and make the problem worse.

However, I do support allowing a **few** students to continue classes. Those are high school seniors and final year students at university.

This is so that they can take their exams and allow the next school year to be relatively normal.

As a supporter of UBI, I think the Trump "payments" are a joke; totally insufficient.

I think the government should bail out small businesses instead of the Feds doibg QE for banks like Goldman Sach's.

"cHiNa LiEd PeOpLe DiEd" is rather dumb meme.

It doesn't matter now if China lied, the pandemic is in the US and Trump is doing a poor job of handling it.

**Constant** China blaming does nothing to advance discourse on the US' failing COVID 19 response.
