Researchers in @Medact's Migrant Solidarity group worked with the @RCPCHtweets
to survey over 200 healthcare workers.

They found:
Children and families delaying seeking care

Treatment denied, including for cancer

Overwhelming opposition to the policy
Respondents shared so many harrowing stories of the impact of NHS charging.

As @maybulman writes "The findings appear to contradict a statement from @DHSCgovuk... stating that their internal evidence collection of the impact of NHS charging... did not find any evidence of harm
This is why the Migrant Solidarity Group are working so hard to bring an end to NHS charging, to stop patient data being shared with the Home Office.

Healthcare workers from around the UK reported that families are coming to hospital far too late because they are scared of NHS bills.

Imagine receiving a bill for your treatment whilst you are still in intensive care.
The survey found healthcare workers oppose the NHS charging regulations. They told us they are causing discrimination and disruption for the patients they care for.

This is why we call for #PatientsNotPassports.
