A year ago today UT was invited to the BCEFA Easter bonnet competition and we spent a whole day in New York. It was lovely. I don’t have any pictures but here’s a thread of memories from one of the most stressful days of my life...
I woke up and had planned my outfit for weeks. That morning I got dressed and felt FIERCE. I was skipping all my classes that day to prepare for a perfect trip. I got to bull two hours early to make sure everything was in order
When everyone else arrived, pictures were being taken out the wazoo, I was too stressed to take any and kept saying I’d get some later. (Never happened) the time was rolling around for the busses to come
THE BUSSES WERE LATE! It was 10 minutes past their arrival time and I was stressed, so I called the company and when I gave them my name and confirmation number they told me THEY HAD NO RECORD OF ME BOOKING THE BUS. I almost lost it. I had over 50 people dressed and ready to go
As I was talking to the manager pulling out my most Karen

About an hour in we had to stop for a bathroom break. Ughh I had no idea if we were even going to be on time anymore. We gave everyone 10 minutes and it was a race against time ugh
Finally we arrived in NYC! We had an hour to grab lunch before meeting at the theatre. In NYC McDonald’s took the whole hour
As tickets were being given out we had no idea where we were supposed to be and the seats were all over the place but ya know we didn’t get in trouble so it’s fine
The show was great and everyone seemed to have a good time. We had a few hours of free time for dinner and whatever else people w acted to do but to be back at the drop off location on time!
I went woth @JoshInthemiddle and @LightsSameraAct and a bunch of other people per their request to a restaurant promised to give me yummy cheesecake... it was adequate

BUT IT WAS FUN! Finally we raced back to the busses people were late and the drivers hated us. We get back to bull where all of our stuff is
AND THE BUILDING WAS ON FIRE!
Looking back I’m cracking up laughing but it was a wild day. Moral of the story, enjoy the moments as their happening or something corny like that
Okay I’m done. If this was too much for you just unfollow me lol nothing matters
