Today I will tell you the tale of the battle between MAHADEVA and ARJUNA.
The tale which no TV Serials have shown in details.

Even BR Chopra made it look like Shiva gave his Pashupatastra to Arjuna with a minimal effort.

But that's not what had actually happened.
Arjuna had to perform extreme austerities, near to impossible for a common man.
He started his Tapasya, eating fruits only once in four nights. Later surviving only on air.
"He raised his arms up, and without anything for support, stood on the tips of his toes."
Shiva approached Arjuna disguised as a Hunter and claimed that the boar Arjuna had hunted was actually his.
Arjuna said, "no, it is mine".
The great battle starts now.

Seeing the Hunter dodging every arrow of Arjuna, he wonders, "Who is he? Is he a god? Is he Rudra himself? Is he a yaksha or the lord of the gods?"

Arjuna wows to send the Hunter to Yama's abode.
"Arjuna struck the Hunter with the fists that had the force of the VAJRA".

"In return, The Hunter struck Phalguna (Arjuna) with terrible fists that were like SHAKRA’s (Indra's) thunder."

"Like the ancient battle between
Vritra and Vasava."
Finally pleased with ARJUNA's might, SHIVA said, "There is NO
KSHATRIYA who is EQUAL TO YOU in valour and endurance."
"O unblemished one! Your energy and valour have been EQUAL TO MINE today."
And then LORD PINAKI gave his favourite PASHUPATASTRA to ARJUNA and taught him the mysteries of the weapon.

"It was like the embodied form of death."
Arjuna was the most blessed man on earth today.

He said, "I have seen the great Mahadeva in person. I am blessed and greatly favoured."

"For I have seen TRYAMBAKA HARA PINAKI in person and have touched him with my hands."
This was the tale of the great battle between the TWO.

Mahabharat serials have done severe injustice to Arjuna by showing him as the most privileged man.

The Privilege tag is the greatest disrespect one can give to his immensely hard-working personality.
"You were Nara in an earlier body, the companion of Narayana"
"The universe is held up through the energy of the two of you"- Lord Shiva to Arjuna.
ॐ नारायणं नमस्कृत्य नरं चैव नरोत्तमम् ।
देवीं सरस्वतीं व्यासं ततो जयमुदीरयेत् ।।

"Aum, Having bowed down to Narayana and Nara, the most exalted male being, and also to the goddess Saraswati, must the word Jaya be uttered."
