I am not one to make blanket statements that someone is or isn't a Christian. I know that I often do, say, and think things that are anti-Christ, and I have to repent of that on a regular basis.
That said, I believe Jesus when he says we will know people by their fruits.

If it is not borne out of love, I don't care if someone says it is in the name of Christ, it is not of Christ. God is love, and the fullness of that love was shown in Jesus.
That love was shown in complete self-giving. Jesus did not go into self-protect mode. He offered himself out of love for us.

It is not of Christ when we make choices to endanger others so that we can get ahead or have more security.
It is not of Christ when we refuse to do what we can to protect our neighbors.
It is not of Christ when we prioritize dollar signs over human lives.

We cannot serve two masters. We have to choose, and the choices we make reveal who we serve.
The litmus test we have is love. If it is not of love, it is not of God.

It is devastates me that people claiming Christ are not known by their love. But, I get it. The hubris, arrogance, and despising of human lives by many who claim Jesus have earned us that reputation.
