This post so succinctly says what I’ve been thinking over the last few weeks

I will say I deeply empathize with parents rn because we weren’t meant to live as islands and raising children should be a community effort but this is an extreme version of what the west has done to community within parenting and how it just doesn’t WORK without others

But the posts online I see where parents just openly seem to hate their kids...? Did you think about this and how they’re a person before you had them?
