I'll keep an open mind, but does this seems plausible?
"Tegnell said sampling and modeling data indicated that 20% of Stockholm’s population is already immune to the virus, and that “in a few weeks’ time we might reach herd immunity and we believe that is why we’re seeing a slow decline in cases"
20% of Stockholm seems plausible now, though Im sceptical of is the capacity to push that to over 50% without inflicting serious damage.
This also seems to contradict what the Swedes have generally been saying. that *theyre not* trying to get herd immunity.
Bear in mind the popn of Stockholm seems to be around 1/10th of Sweden's population.
I think this shows that the policy some have mooted of leaving it run through the population *and* managing to protect the most at risk groups is not a practical possibility.
