Every other headline is about a lack of PPE in the NHS. If people are avoiding A&E then perhaps that is a factor. It’s not easy to compare risks. How much does a hospital increase your risk of coronavirus?
Maybe it decreases your risk. Maybe your risk is unchanged. But perception is reality as we used to say in the comms game. Is there a perception (beyond my observations I mean) that medical attention is risky, and if so is it justified?
