I actually really dislike that hot take about how doing voices in D&D are a product on one only listening to CR.
I have long stopped consuming CR, it’s got a lot of problems. But doing voices? Come on.
It’s such a “I hate what the popular kids do” take.

I love doing voices in D&D. Myself, and loads of other people did voices long before CR. They did not invent doing voices.
So go complain about things that CR did that are actually problematic instead of whining about how people choose to have fun in D&D.

Product *of* one
Gosh I hate seeing a typo in a tweet that already has responses. :(

I guess I just mostly dislike the implication that folks like this see folks like me doing voices and make an automatic assumption that I’m doing it to be like CR. It troubles me.
And it’s another way to discount artsy/theatrical kids from the hobby. Not serious enough. Sigh.
