Baker: Total of 3,872 people in MA hospitals with Covid-19 as of yesterday. Some 56% of 18k+ hospital beds remain unoccupied.
Baker: All those empty beds? State and hospitals "did a TON of work" to ensure beds were available for people with non-Covid-19 conditions, so don't shy away from getting care.

Baker: Outbreaks are in places that do a lot of testing (MA) - implication is that lack of testing is missing cases - are dense (New Orleans, Seattle) and that have significant involvement in the international economy (again, MA).

Baker: Figuring out what went wrong at nursing homes, long-term care facilities going to require some "heavy duty analytics" because some of the worst outbreaks have been at some of the best run facilities.
