I felt more alone & degraded that ppl liked me for money not for me

no amount of money can buy real friends, family or lovers, those types will sell themselves to the highest bidders

I stopped being stupid generous & the users fell off right away

I found myself alone again but this time w my self-respect in tact

this newfound self-respect translated into becoming even more attractive... ppl can sense security & want it for themselves too

it also translated into offending users who expect to be catered to

self-respect does that hard work for me
