Doing what I was born to do, which is write about bats

I missed a meeting because I forgot what time it was because I was writing too much about bats. The good thing is I am writing about bats for my job. I hope my job understands my words are the only thing keeping the bats' good reputation alive.

Mexican free-tailed bats are the coolest animals ever and they singlehandedly save our agricultural industry from pests and do people still want to kill them? Yes.

I just want to write about bats forever.

I wrote 1500 words about bats. This is 500 words too many about bats. I don't know which words about bats to cut. This must be what kill your darlings means.
