With the rerun of the Bosnia game on tonight, I have been reliving the epic journey @indi_kitty and I took to Sarajevo! It started off fairly logically, at an airport, Cardiff Airport to be exact where we had burgers and beer before or flight to...
Munich! We got a cab from the airport to the centre, the taxi driver was very apologetic about the traffic and was giving us haribo. We had time for a wander round and found a vegan kebab place for tea, here we were given free bottles of coke just for being Welsh!
We were there for about 4/5 hours in total before we were on our way again. This time on an overnight coach to Zagreb. We boarded the coach, tucked ourselves in and off we went...
I can& #39;t remember what time we got to Zagreb, I think it was about 7.30am. We only had a couple of hours before the next leg of our journey - time to grab pizza for breakfast, get some supplies in, take some photos and get our tickets for the next stage...

Going by land through what was, not that long before really, a warzone. From discarded tanks to buildings full of bullet holes, the reminders are everywhere. Just across the border, one of the Bosnian player& #39;s uncle got on and joined us, telling us what happened in the area.
There was some stunning scenery along the way - Clare and I had read that it was apparently one of the most train journeys in the world, that& #39;s partly what led us to this bonkers idea!
