Jesse is most effective when playing quick one-twos & making runs in behind the opposition defences, the latter being shown below against Cardiff (ignore Hugo in the celebrations at the end) :

His ability to receive the ball in space, turn and make space for a shot is hugely underrated imo as shown below away at Everton (Hugo could only dream of doing this ):

Lingard also has the knack of stepping up in big moments when needed as shown below on the FA Cup final against Palace:

I’d prefer we keep Lingard and sell A*dreas as Jesse offers more and is one of the reasons why we’ve even won silveraware after Sir Alex retried.
