1. THE INKEY LIST
The Inkey List have similar product variety like The Ordinary but better formulation, in my opinion, especially for people who arenât really vast in chemistry. From cleansers to serums to toners to moisturizers. They have them all!

2. GOOD MOLECULES
Good Molecules is one of those brands that just blew up in our faces without warning but am I mad at it? Hell no because the products are good. Their Hyaluronic Acid serum is $8.

3. FOURTH RAY BEAUTY
Fourth Ray is one I particularly like for hydrating and moisturizing products. They are a sister brand to the makeup brand - ColourPop.

ELF skincare crept up on us like a thief in the night. I always knew them for affordable makeup but now theyâre on the skincare train. Personally, I havenât tried anything from them but Iâve heard good reviews so why not?

5. SIMPLE SKINCARE
Just like the name implies, even their packaging is simple and refreshing. Theyâve been on the market for quite a long time now, especially their micellar water and moisturizer (C$10)

6. CERAVE
Aside from good ingredients, Cerave products are generously packaged so they last a pretty long time. Theyâve got Niacinamide in almost all their products so if youâre allergic to niacinamide, it might be safe to stay off them.

I particularly love the Hydrating cleanser (C$6) and the skin revenging night cream (C$25). They also have other cleansers, micellar water, serums and moisturizers.
7. PEACH SLICES (KBeauty)
Peach Slices donât have a wide range of products but their moisturizer ($12) is a good and affordable one. https://www.peachandlily.com/collections/peach-slices

8. THE ORDINARY
A honourable mention of The Ordinary because if I donât mention it, yâall might come for me lol. Some of their products are good but you might need some understanding of chemistry to know which products to use/pair with the other.

My recommendation from them would be the Lactic acid 5/10% serum (C$7) https://theordinary.deciem.com/default
