i’ve often heard stuff like “the eastern community is so much better in their production and thats why their musics better” and i mean... yeah? a lot of those bigger producers have access to really good production equipment / good studios / can play guitars to make those

sexy hq rock songs. but at least from my experience / my friends’ experience, we got a daw, some funky plugins, and mixing headphones and Thats It. i think we’re making some really creative stuff that i Love (i.e monstrosity’s vanishing world series, solo songs like

lauren estes’s connection error, etc) but esp considering most of just have a DAW and some mixing headphones and we go ham i think thats esp cool as fuck

ALSO LIKE ik some producers are also like...rlly young? i see y’all 14-17 year old producers!!! and you guys are making some cool things!!!!! and thats so cool of u that you’re making music at this age!!!

in general i think making music is something that takes a Lot and the fact that some of y’all are younger and are already making really cool things with music is super :D like yes you go funky little producers. and even those who are older and started later you go fam!!!!
