this all sucks. but how to make it not suck you ask? stay home, be patient, and this will get better if everyone does their part. the class of 2020 is feeling a lot of things right now, but i know that personally it’s a lot of sadness.
we aren’t going to be spending the remainder of the school year with the people we’ve grown up with. prom and graduation aren’t looking good. and now the possibility of online classes until 2021 is upon us (here’s your friendly reminder that those are all valid feelings to have).
the bottom line is that everyone is experiencing and coping with this in different ways and we all want our normal lives back. that will happen a lot sooner if we listen to the medical experts who are trying to help the world get through this.
so, to the people who are protesting the stay at home orders- shame on you for putting people’s lives in danger because you decided that this was the time to rebel against the government and you can’t handle being bored; you’re not the heroes you think you are.
finally, i know this was a lot, so if you made it through this whole thread, thank you, and again, #STAYHOME
