2 weeks ago final year PhD students were told they would be getting a 6 month funding extension by @UKRI_News. We still have not received this extension or any other info. I haven't been paid since December. In my house we are now rationing food.

Thank you for all your support, we are fine and have a good family support system who are helping us out! (We might just end up with a little bit of scurvy!) But there are other PhD students (and their children) who are less lucky, please pressure UKRI to help us all out!

We also have a secure roof over our heads, other PhD students are trying to scrape together their rent. Please please help them out! They are your colleagues.
