Now look at Long Term Care where #covid19 is spreading.
125 outbreaks - up 4
295 deaths - up 22
Total resident cases 1,587
Total staff cases 748 - compare to hospital staff at 101
NOTE: provincial data is unable to keep up with all the latest numbers - yesterday afternoon Dr. Barbara Yaffe confirmed
128 outbreaks in LTC (20% of all LTC homes)
and 399 resident deaths, so numbers released this morning are still behind. #covid19
Also important: yesterday the Chief Medical Officer of Health said he would like to see community transmission cases drop to below 200 before easing restrictions - will try and find out what the number today is at his 3pm briefing. Yesterday it was around 400.

Here's another interesting observation:Ontario broke the 10-thousand test mark for the first time - but it did not equal a rise in positive cases.
Eg,April 20th there were 8,743 tests and 606 more cases
Today:10,361 tests & 510 positive cases (differs by day but you see point)
