A few years ago, I was digital editor for a wellness festival (won’t say which, but see my CV ) that ADORED Mr. Malhotra. They were utterly obsessed with the anti-carb, pseudoscientific shit he spewed and went out of their way to ensure he had the biggest platform of the event.

He expresses more outrage at the prospect of NHS workers having this small joy and potentially gaining weight than workers lacking PPE and being forced to put their lives at risk, and honestly, I don’t think anything better encapsulates the mindset of the wellness industry.
