We're buying fresh fruit, veg & other essentials wholesale, so every day we get lots of deliveries
It's not easy bringing the pallets off the trucks & down into the rec, but luckily Matt who usually works in housing used to be a warehouseman, so we're in safe hands!

Once we've got the big delivery in, it's broken down & taken through to the main hall where it's picked and sorted into parcels with a good balance of all the essentials

Chantelle is putting together bags of store cupboard essentials like canned food , bread 
and cereal. She's producing about 20-30 bags 
every 10 minutes! That's pretty impressive

For the next stage, we needed a hand, so we got council leader @CllrJackHopkins_Lab down to help out . Here he is working down the line and telling us a bit more about the process

Right, once all the food is parcelled up it's time to get it out to the people who need it! . The amazing 
team at @PedalMe are sending riders out from here to all corners of the borough, delivering food quickly 
and sustainably.

We spoke to Chris one of the directors to find out how they've used their tech and delivery know-how to scale up deliveries to more than 400 a day
