So here’s who I took. And if you look through the that previous thread you can see why I took each guy. Tried to go the “value route” thinking I could take Williams and edge in the 3rd. That would’ve been a FAIL lol shit is hard

So I took on John Lynch’s philosophy. He said he wanted to trade both first round picks if the opportunity presented itself. So guess what I did.. I traded both lol starting with pick 13.

At pick 13 these guys were on the board. So I was more than comfortable moving down as far 20 and feeling like 1 of the guys I really liked would be there. Atlanta came calling. I traded them 13 a 5th and a 7th. They gave me 16 and 78 (3rd round)

By the way. All picks were made using The Draft Networks mock draft simulator

With the 16th overall pick via ATL, The San Francisco 49ers select..... Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama. Let’s not overthink this. Dudes electric. Best route runner in the class. I think his routes overshadow the type of deep ball this guy is. He legit catches BOMBS.

Can play inside.. outside.. wins at both spots. Can improve on making contested catches but I think he’s the perfect sidekick to Deebo Samuel. Like cmon.. that’s just way too dangerous. Just do what you are good at Jeudy.. and let Deebo do him. Good luck defenses

The 49ers trade pick 31 and 217 (7th round) to the Cleveland Browns for picks 41 (2nd round) and pick 97 (3rd round)

With the 41st pick in the draft via Cleveland, the San Francisco 49ers select, Raekwon Davis DT Alabama

So I was big on the whole “Armstead will play 3 tech.. it’s fine guys relax” and then John Lynch was like “Nah homie.. he’s gonna do what he did last year” so I was like “Damn homie.. we better get a 3 tech” lol so I got big dog from Bama. MDLGA (Make DLine Great Again)

With the 78th pick (3rd round) via Atlanta, the San Francisco 49ers select, Cameron Dantzler cornerback Mississippi State

Danztler didn’t run fast at the combine.. 4.64 which is FAR from ideal. Did his virtual pro day and ran 4.38 lol I’m not buying it. BUT when watching him play I was impressed with how well he moved for a 6’2” cb. I’m not big on adding a bunch of weight but he could use 10 pounds

Had a great game against LSU guarding Chase inside and outside. There was one play on the goal line where he fought under a pick that I was impressed with. He responded with this comment below. I was like yeah I like this kid.

3rd round pick behind Sherm, Moseley and Ahkello means you don’t have to rush him on the field. Have a talented kid waiting for his opportunity

With the 97th pick (3rd round) via Cleveland, the San Francisco 49ers select, Bryan Edwards wide receiver South Carolina

Another receiver? Hell yeah.. you know why? because I. Don’t. Trust. Anyone. After. Bourne. And currently (before the Jeudy pick, there’s only Deebo and Bourne. Not gonna cut it. You guys can wait and see who emerges from Pettis, Taylor, Hurd, James. I’m getting jumbo sized Deebo

If you don’t know what Edwards is about.. this play lets you know lol

Edwards is much more than a end around guy. At 6’3” 215 pounds he’s a very fluid and twitchy mover. My buddy at South Carolina said he hit the same MPH’s as Deebo Samuel. He’s a legit route runner.. strong hands.. possession receiver who can win vertically outside.

Deebo Jeudy Edwards Bourne (whoever else) and Kittle... I like it.

With the 156th (5th round) The San Francisco 49ers select Jack Driscoll Offensive Tackle Auburn

49ers have gotten good play out of late round and UDFA OLmen. Driscoll fits the mold size was of a Shanahan guy 6’5” 305. Can he play? We’ll find out .. value met need pick here.

And with the 49ers final pick of the draft.. pick 210 in the 6th round the San Francisco 49ers select Kindle Vildor cornerback out of Georgia Southern

At 5’10” 191 lbs with great athleticism. 4.44 40 speed at the combine. 39.5” vert Vildor can play inside or outside. Played a ton of zone at Georgia Southern so he understands that.. super scrappy.. my kinda guy.. why double up on corner though? I’ll tell you why

Sherma, Witherspoon and Williams are in the last years of their contracts. The 49ers have had signed Verrett and Dontae Johnson back as insurance plans. You have DJ Reed (also plays safety) and Tim Harris who I’m not big. It’s just too Shakey after the starting guys

With no long term depth/solution. So o added a talented guy who I actually think will go higher than round 6 but you never know.
