Danny Ainge on finishing this season: "Adam Silver has some tough decisions. I& #39;m holding out hope we& #39;re still going to play basketball this year. But that& #39;s just me being a fan."
Ainge on new salary cap projections: "We haven& #39;t gotten anything from the league. I& #39;m focused on preparing for free agency, preparing for the draft, watching a lot of film. Controlling what I can control."
Ainge on staying in touch with the team: "We& #39;re doing Zoom calls. We& #39;re doing workouts with the coaches and strength coaches. We& #39;re having special guests. We& #39;re trying to do all we can. For the most part, I& #39;m impressed with how much our guys are bought in and doing their work."
Ainge on special guests who have spoken to the Celtics: "Mark Wahlberg was fun. LL Cool J was great. Dr. Myron Rolle was very inspirational for our guys to listen to."
Ainge on preparing for the draft: "You still have to keep working and preparing as if the draft is happening on June 25, until we hear otherwise. We& #39;ve been allowed to do calls with the seniors. Can& #39;t communicate with underclassmen until we have that list."
Ainge said he doesn& #39;t believe the NBA Draft will be held as scheduled on June 25.
Ainge on the draft process: "Let& #39;s use Rajon Rondo as an example. Had I not been able to meet with him and look into his eyes, I don& #39;t think I would have draft him. At the same time, we drafted Avery Bradley without any draft workouts. You don& #39;t always gets guys in."
Ainge on losing conference tournaments and NCAA tournament on evaluating young players: "I think we sometimes overvalue a single game."
