Trump has nearly started a war with Iran multiple times now. He's threatened to "end" Iran & bomb its cultural sites. Furthermore, the US and Iran have both blamed each other for escalating tensions in the Persian Gulf. The US says Iranian gunboats have harassed its military ships, while Iran says US warships have recently begun blocking the routes of Iranian ships.

The fact is that the Trump admin severed all communication channels with Iran. The sides simply can't talk to eachother as they have in the past to resolve misunderstandings in the Persian Gulf & beyond. It has created a situation where the risk of miscalculation is high.

Trump's bellicose rhetoric & threats & failed "maximum pressure" campaign has created a powderkeg in an already volatile region. Unless Trump reverses his disastrous Iran policy, war is inevitable.
