This is my shitpost account, but like... in informal education, you have to frame and interpret data to make it relevant affectively and cognitively. Teachers do this. Sci Comm professionals do this. It's no different presenting data to stakeholders in decision making.

The difference, in my experience, is being trusted enough (relevant to this thread) in your workplace to advocate for the data and what it's telling your stakeholders. That execs and decision makers can be open to wanting good data before it's on their doorstep.
