Today's Devotion. (04-22-2020)
DAY 37 OF ECQ. - A THREAD:

"Never be Lacking in Zeal, but keep your Spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be Joyful in Hope, Patient in Affliction, Faithful in Prayer."

-Romans 12:11-12

It says here that we should never lose our motivations nor experience a lack of it, we should also keep our Spiritual Fire in Serving Him. Keep our Joy in Hoping for what is yet to come, be more patient during a time of Crisis or Harsh Situations in life & go deeper in Prayer.

A reminder that is so timely during the 37th day of ECQ. We were not so ready for this ECQ when it started. Imagine that the things that you are used to doing, began to change. Living a busy life, going home just to sleep, waking up early to report for work.

The time that the ECQ happened, some of us who are working, are so eager to work hard to be promoted or productive and get our monthly salary to survive the next following days. Some of them are so tired and thought of having a break.

Some of us are students, who just got their prelim grades and struggling to maintain their academic performance. Some of them are also asking for some days to take a break and then get back, move forward.

Pollutions were consuming our Planet. Unending Traffic jams, uncountagious Fire destruction and sometimes other Fortuitous Events.

And then the Pandemic Happened. Corona Virus 2019 outbreak. Affecting and ending innocent lives.

Despite on everything that happened during the start of 2020, God never failed to move in Mysterious ways.

Each of us finally got the chance to spend our time with our families. Making a bond. Praying together, and fighting together.

The Planet is healing. Less pollutions. Less crimes. You can observe that as you hear and watch the news.

Work from home. Study from home. Gave each of us time to rest our bodies and do things that we usually, never do before. From workaholic to a resting once exhausted being.

But Despite of that Change, are you still on Fire? Did you finally gave God the time he deserves each day? A quiet time for your spiritual being. How do you face the pandemic?

Heart check muna tayo, kafaithid!

We rattle a lot for being stressed because of some tasks that we need to finish all at once. We rant for the help that we receive. We never get contented. We always want more. We keep on whinning. We keep on complaining. We never Persevere.

God reminds us to "DO EVERYTHING WITHOUT COMPLAINING OR ARGUING." -Philippians 2:14

Everything that you have on your plate rn, was not given to you if God knows you cant overcome it.

And if we Give or help, we should do it without expecting something in return. Never lift yourselves up for "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." - James 4:6

Some of us are facing a hard situation in life, suffering in sickness, pain, financial difficulties and a tough life. Maybe also, a Covid 19 Positive. PUI/PUM.

But never ever lose your joy in serving the Lord during these type of situations. We should go deeper in Prayer instead.

If you struggle about something rn? Persevere more in Prayer and Devotion. God will be with you, until you get the victory.

Claim the breakthrough that will happen in your life let's always seek to keep the fire burning in our hearts. Stop worrying for tomorrow and don't forget to check our hearts.
