Don't mind Starmer even if he's a bit dry but it just feels like when politics people are all breathlessly saying "the adults are back in the room" it's because they're happy they can go back to gatekeeping it again

Pundits have hated that since Corbyn came in there's been loads of young people who weren't ever engaged with politics before getting interested, and all this praise of civility etc just feels code for 'thank fuck those people don't get a say anymore because they were too loud'
