This week, I found out someone in my community was hurting others.

No one prepares you for that. I& #39;m heartbroken.

I want to protect as many people as I possibly can. So I& #39;m opening myself up as a resource for how to prevent and handle this type of situation.
The person in question is no longer welcome in my community, obviously. I have absolutely zero tolerance for this.

Knowing where I stand and communicating that with my mods and community is what kept more people from getting hurt. I encourage others to do the same!!!
But what sucks the absolute most is that while there is a lot I can control, there are more things I can& #39;t.

I can& #39;t stop this person from coming to my streams (ugh). I can& #39;t stop other people from engaging with them. I can& #39;t stop people from telling them about these tweets.
But instead of feeling defeated by the things I can& #39;t control, I want to focus on what I can do to help others. So, here I am.

Please talk to your mods. Talk to your communities. You have the responsibility as a community leader to keep them safe.
