Does anyone remember the Chester City League Cup game at ER in 2006 which #lufc won 1-0? It was Eirik Bakke’s last game & goal for the club.

A Chester fan rang in & said he was delighted with his first ever trip to Elland Road & how a 1-0 defeat was a cracking result for the League 2 side. Felt they had a chance in 2nd leg. #lufc

We had to break it to the poor lad as he was on air traveling back with his mates that his side were out.

He hadn’t realised the tie was only one leg

Best part was he then told us someone had sold him a ticket for the 2nd leg ! #lufc
