From my observation, Christian authors have done a better job that Christian filmmakers telling the storiesof Christians
I wish Christian creatives will see that there is a world beyond inspirational content.

We don't just want to read about "The 10 Ways to Become A Better...".

We want our stories told. Years from now people will want to know how we overcame, this is what is missing right now.
Who will tell our stories, if not us?

I guess everyone is still trying to overcompensate and fulfill the appearance of being the best Christian rather than dealing in reality.
Also I know people don't like to hear this but I believe there is laziness in the bible study department.

Cliché Christian content comes from the lack of in depth knowledge of the Word. If you are STUDYING (really studying) the Word believe me it will show in what you create.
You think Francine Rivers could write Redeeming Love if she had not taken the time to unpack the story of Hosea?

Your content will not manufacture itself, you have to bury your head in your bible. As a creative, you should be studying your bible more than everyone else.
And you don't study the Word to just be inserting bible verse in your content.

The duty of a creative is to be a translator/interpreter. You study so you can use your content to deliver the gospel in ways that are digestible and entertaining whilst still being true to the Word.
