1) So, this is the first & #39;serious& #39; preclinical data I have seen for an actual vaccine candidate. This one is an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine made by Sinovac. 2) Their vaccine is in Phase I trials in China already. The company was also the only company that made a SARS-classic vaccine back then and pushed it into Phase I trials (NIAID had one as well, but they are not a company).
