I saw tweets here and facebook posts on the King.Let me give a snippet on our system.Lesotho in 1993 was declared a constitutional monarchy. The King and Queen can only do functions that are provided in the constitution.
Their powers and duties are ceremonial in nature.
The King is guided and advised by the council of state as well as the PM.His duties are only to to the extend of that advise.
So he cannot in anyway do as he pleases or say anything that he feels without adhering to the constitution.I am sure he has lot to say about the politics of this country but in his capacity as the monarch he cannot.
Things would be different if Lesotho was under a absolute monarch rule in which the monarch holds all power over the government and the people.e.g Eswatini
