Goswami had so much potential. He said he would build an Indian BBC/CNN. Yet like SRK at his peak he can’t seem to let go of what works commercially in the now and here: the loud, obnoxious host that shouts at a million panelists. Unfortunate for India - what a wasted talent.

But one smart move that he has done is that he is now hosting shows in Hindi also. Real influence lies there now.

My point is Arnab has shown what works. There are a dozen plus copycats. He could have moved on to something more sane now. But hey who knows.
