Sir Keir Starmer's first question at #PMQs

How does the government intend to get from the current rate of 18000 a day to 100000 a day.

Dominic Raab corrects him to say capacity is 40,000.

Starmer: I didn't need correcting, I gave the number of actual tests being carried out
Makes the point that the UK is only testing at half the capacity it claims to have.

"If a care worker has symptoms they have to self isolate. To get a test they get told to travel to a test centre many miles away. There is an obvious problem with that system."
Starmer: "How many NHS Workers have now died from the Coronavirus, how many care workers have died from coronavirus?"

Raab: 69 within the NHS, but he has no figures for care workers.

Starmer warns he'll ask the same question next week.
"Somethings going wrong, and there's a pattern emerging here..."

Keir Starmer says the government has been slow to react at all stages of the outbreak. #PMQs

Raab says 3000 of 8000 offers of PPE from UK business have been accepted subject to meeting appropriate standards
