Last night, @jreidenberg passed away after a long battle w leukemia. I hate that he was taken from us way too soon. I’m sad. But I cherish the time we had. Why not use this #thread to share a Reidenberg memory, what he means to you, to our field, to the world. I’ll start.

Joel walked up to me as I sat alone at a table at my first PLSC, knowing only one other person, @daniellecitron, who hadn’t arrived yet. Joel made me feel welcome, like I was already part of the community, and I will never forget that.
