From the FT article today the NI death toll is about four times what they're registering (at 500 deaths, total). It's likely that the Republic's rate is somewhat higher than registered, but as nursing homes are included in the figures, not so much. https://twitter.com/IrishTimesOpEd/status/1252898778035769345
