I’m done hearing the quote “iKON are YG favorites” cause it couldn’t be further from the truth; they had to endure so many mistreatments from that company, as well as all the other artists
now let me show you some of them

they had to go through two reality survival programs, WIN and M&M (2013-2014) to be able to debut as a group. during these programs they suffered from incredible psychological pressure (especially hanbin)

bobby and hanbin were sent to SMTM and, allegedly, YG told bobby that he needed to win in order to stay at the company. in the end, he won

iKON debuted on september 15, 2015, and started touring in the beginning of 2016 without doing an all 7 variety show; they did 28 concerts, 12 in 6 days

YG made them go through another survival show, this time in China; they had to sleep on floors because they were touring and flying back and forth from Korea to China

during the second tour, that got extended into 2017, hanbin got injured in his eye. the company made a statement that he wouldn’t perform because of his injury but when people asked for refunds they made him go up on stage

during this tours bobby had trouble breathing because of the exhausting schedules; instead of protecting their artist, they made him go up on stage with oxygen masks in hand

they made them appear on TV with old black boots and repainted them white to make it look like they were brand new

love scenario, the nation anthem, was rejected three times before YG allowed it to be used

I don’t wanna talk about all the mistreatments hanbin had to experience after June 12 because I don’t wanna get even more emotional and angry; we all know about them

iKON got mistreated even after hanbin had to leave them: they had to go on tour not even a month after and they were clearly devastated.
I will not insert the photos of the first concert without him because I don’t think it’s respectful, but you know what I’m referring to

this thread has the purpose to show you that iKON are seven people that deserve dignity, respect and love, as well as all the YG artists and all the artists in general

we love their music, we love their talent and we love them as human beings and I think and hope that every fandom can relate to this.
