every time i think about it my heart SINKS bc i know exactly how that feels and it’s the fucking worst

i try not to think into it but usually unrequited loves come from friendships and i’m not saying she fell in love with her friend but IF SHE DID, that’s the worst bc you start to hate yourself for catching feelings and you feel like you’ve ruined things between you both

it HURTS

especially bc you’ll keep it secret and you pine and pine as you watch them talk about other people they’re interested in and you just think ‘what do they have that i don’t?’, and it shatters you bc you KNOW you could give them everything it really fucks with your self esteem

if it’s your friend you’ll want to confess but you know that you could potentially RUIN your relationship if they don’t feel the same way, or things will become weird

yet there’s always that part of you that thinks ‘what if they felt the same?’
