One time, I had an article to submit within 72hrs, and by the second day I was yet to even pen down anything, my research was not even arranged enough to get me started. I was so tensed I had to call a friend and he said to me;
"your brain needs time to get all the information together so take a break and give yourself time to relax" ah! Article i need to submit tomorrow evening, I should rest? Ah.. I sha struggled with the thought but finally gave in to rest I mean proper rest. I woke up refreshed
Then got back to the article, and everything started coming. In a space of 6hrs I was done with both writing and editing, sent it to him to look through to put a finishing touch. By 12pm the next day my article was submitted.
Moral lesson: Learn to take a break at intervals don't let people pressure you into doing things you have not properly put together. Take your time but be intentional and proactive at same time.
