My positions on Biden, condensed in one thread:

-He is an architect of genocide, a neoliberal warhawk and an imperialist. This is all well-documented. He sucks.

-He is, at best, extremely sexually aggressive, and he' been accused of sexual assault, and discussing this is valid.
-I don't care if you vote for Biden, I haven't discouraged anyone from voting for Biden. I live in South Carolina where my vote DOESN'T MATTER and so I certainly won't vote for him, I will be voting to try to get Green Party federal funding.
-If YOU live in a swing state and want to vote for him, go for it. It might result in some limited harm reduction. I'm not going to judge anyone for tactically voting for Biden if they're doing it because they think it will save some lives in the short-term.
-That said, I feel it's more useful for me to spend my limited time and use my mid-sized platform to advocate for DIRECT ACTION. I do not think Biden will have any meaningful impact on saving us in the mid- to long-term at all. Direct action is the only meaningful path forward.
-Finally, and most importantly, I believe that arguing about Biden is a WASTE OF TIME and I believe that such arguments AID REACTIONARIES. There is NO REASON for us to be divided on this. If people want to vote for Biden, let them vote for Biden.
If people want to campaign for Biden, let them campaign for Biden. The election will be over in 6 months anyway, I don't have any concern about that. I'll be over here working to actively organize workers and helping coordinate direct actions for May Day.
So:

If you want Biden to win, spend your time promoting Biden. Talk up his strengths. Phone bank for him. Do things that will actually encourage people to vote for him. Don't waste time shitting on anti-Biden people. Do actual organizing.

ANNNND....
If you, like me, believe Direct Action is the only way forward, don't waste your time arguing with Biden stans. Spend your time organizing and supporting direct actions like striking, building mutual aid networks, etc.
