We have reached out to other universities @dundeeuni @AbertayUni @UniStrathclyde @RCStweets @aberdeenuni and even our own UWS student union who have furloughed ALL staff. We have been told via our MPs that other employment opportunities were made available to us, but we never received any info of this personally. What about those who cannot work due to health? We need help and answers. 4/ @scotgov @ScottishTUC @ScotFundCouncil @betterthanzero
We want to understand why @UniWestScotland and @PrincipalUWS are above the Government when other unis are using the #JobRetentionScheme without issues? Perhaps a 20% paycut of the ÂŁ227k salary to cover staff who are in need? Rather than leave us without pay?
