I CAN’T EVEN LIE - NICKI MINAJ FT. FUTURE
“Queen back in the U.S. Low iron, but you pressed”

This line serves as a triple entendre. This was recorded right after Nicki came back from Paris where she had released the 3 pack (No Frauds, Changed It, Regret In Your Tears) This was during the era where felon dissed her.
Nicki had spent the week in Paris after shETHER dropped while the general public claimed she was running & scared of dissing Remy. They had no idea Nicki had already recorded several diss tracks that could’ve easily ended Remy’s career then. She decided to torture her instead:
“Low iron but you pressed” is in reference to irons that press clothes. “Pressed” also means to be bothered or jealous. The 3rd & most menacing meaning is in reference to fertility. Women with low iron have trouble conceiving children. Back then Remy recently had a miscarriage.
“Who lied and said you next? Crying emojis in my group text”

Nicki’s taking more shots at Remy. This line serves as a direct response to “ShETHER”. Specifically, this line targets Remy’s claims that she’s the new “queen of rap” even though she lacks the stats, fanbase or talent.
Nicki isn’t too bothered about her rival claiming to snatch her “queen of rap” title. In fact, she’s laughing off those ridiculous claims, using the cry-laughing emojis while discussing the beef in group chats with her friends and peers.
“Stay in your bum ass duplex, it’s Minaj: no group sex”

This is similar to Nicki’s line on “Make Love” where she took her first direct shots at Remy after ignoring several subliminal for several years from felon.
Minaj isn’t interested in sharing her title as Queen—it’s not a “group” thing, just “Minaj.” She uses a play on words by replacing “ménage” (from ménage à trois which literally means threesome in French) with her own name.
“Queen never shuffle, you deal”

This is a quadruple entendre. Nicki is using her status as queen of rap and comparing it to cards. She will always be the queen no matter how her haters feel and they will have to learn to deal with it. Shuffle and dealing are card terms.
In addition to this, Nicki is referring to being the king pin while the lessers go out on the corners to “deal” the product to customers. It can also be interpreted as Nicki never shuffles as in is never taken off her A-game. She said a similar line on “Go Hard” in 2009.
“Just turned down a four million dollar shoe deal”

In February 2017, Nicki Minaj engaged in a dispute with Italian luxury shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti whom she has worked with in the past and referenced in both “Pound the Alarm” and “I’m Legit.”
She owns rights to several designs on their line named after her. Zanotti’s publicists ghosted her when she attempted to make contact for future work & took her designs off their website. Nicki turned down cooperation with the brand due to what she saw as discrimination & sexism.
“Keep your man off my Instagram, bitch. 99 problems but ain't one a damn bitch”

In March 2017, Papoose was caught lurking on Nicki’s Instagram after he liked a comment on a photo of her and Drake. The photo coincided with a line from her Remy Ma diss track “No Frauds”.
Liking the comment was probably a mistake considering it was only a fan tagging her friend, but it still proved Papoose was lurking on Nicki’s Instagram.

Nicki also asserts she isn’t concerned about Remy by flipping a classic line from JAY-Z’s 2003 song “99 Problems”:
“G4 fly even when I land, bitch”

The G450 jet, usually used for private use, is a luxurious plane that costs around $36 million. Nicki uses it as an adjective to describe just how stylish she is at any time, not only when she’s in the sky. She currently owns a G6 valued at $70M.
“Looking like Pocahontas, ya they want my land bitch”

Nicki uses Pocahontas as an equivalent for Native Americans in general, referencing how the Europeans crossed over and seized their land. Nicki’s land is her empire & her top spot won’t be as easily taken by the competition.
This also refers to how powerful white executives who run and have taken over the Rap Industry labels want her gone (namely Atlantic Records). Even though Rap is a Black genre of music, it has been monopolized and white washed throughout the years. She won’t stand for it.
Nicki also popularized the “inches” style in 2017 as she wore various floor length hairstyles throughout that time period. This also compares to the common image of Pocahontas.
“I'm just exotic, bitch, chronic bitch.
Shoe game on psychotic, bitch”

Nicki brags about her expensive taste in shoes, reworking her line from Ludacris’s 2010 hit “My Chick Bad”:
“Pussy get 'em hooked like phonics, sis”

“Hooked on Phonics” is an educational program that encourages children to learn vocabulary through fun activities. Nicki compares how eager kids are to learn to the eagerness guys have to get her in bed after they’ve slept with her once.
“Every ball player tryna find this bitch.
Ball hard but I'm too fine to fine this bitch”

This is an homage to a JAY-Z lyric from 2011’s “Niggas In Paris”:
Nicki’s alluding to her scheduled performance at the first ever NBA Awards Show, which was set to premiere in New York City on June 26, 2017, three days after this song dropped.

She’s also referencing being a “bad bitch” acting as if it is a finable offense similar to “BAPS”.
“I graduated with honors, bitch. I'm the truth like a motherfuckin' honest bitch”

Nicki compares being the “truth” or authentic in nature to literally being truthful & honest. She also shows off the fact that she graduated “Summa Cum Laude” or “top of her class” in school.
“Full throttle switch. Pick a side, pick a side, they gotta switch”

As Nicki’s “gearing up” to the next stage of her career, competition gets left in the dust. As her status escalates, people in the industry switch sides like a car switches lanes. They all race to take her spot.
Nicki also works in a quote from “No Frauds” which seems to be written at the same time as “Hard White” where Nicki says “just last week I told them to pick a side” indicating Nicki had several disses ready to go but decided to make Remy’s demise slow and painful instead.
This notion is further supported when Nicki mentioned Winnie Harlow and Jordan Dunn in “Hard White” because she was with them in Paris chilling after Remy dropped the disses. Nicki was unbothered & ready to engage in chess. We see who called checkmate & who got their rook took.
“Big MAC billboard out in Times Square and I ain't talkin 'bout McDonald's bitch”

The “Big Mac" is McDonald’s flagship cheeseburger, but Nicki is referring to her 2011 MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam campaign billboard in Times Square.
