Thanks for covering holiday refunds @BBCBreakfast - but what about situations where nobody is taking responsibility? We booked via @secret_escapes and were transferred to @fleetwaytravel for travel docs. We’ve had VERY poor communication from both (none from FT). Who owes us?
I’m calling out @secret_escapes + @fleetwaytravel for their lack of comms. Our hol was cancelled before the UK lockdown, and altho SE told us we’d be prioritised + would receive a full refund for a package hol, we’ve been palmed off to a travel agent who hasn’t reached out at all
Any #journos want to cover this thread?? We’ve been lied too, ignored, kept in the dark, shouted at and refused a refund by two travel agents. One being the “exclusive members only luxury hotels and holidays club” @secret_escapes
