enjoying the airy good will as well as irony, in gestures like this: a Post It left in our mailbox. irony being: I may not be resilient enough to survive a virus passed on via Post It (joking, kinda). I'm not disparaging generosity of spirit, but is this a sign of gentrification?
what's galling is there are complex social problems in this suburb of inner-Melbourne, that've been here a long time: the kind of stuff ppl won't survive through resilience. so if the person lives here, they're likely blinkered to that in their rosy world view of 'just be strong'
