Our fondly remembered 90s team, wasn't that successful as it had the potential to be.

Early 90s we struggled to beat WI. Mid 90s it was SA and SL.

99 onwards we were in superb form and beat almost all teams but Aus.

The teams we were good against in 90s were Ind, NZ, Zim &
Eng - and none of these were strong teams.

Frequent changes in team management and captians was the main reason perhaps. After IK the aggressive captians were Wasim Akram and Moin Khan, no one else had an aggressive approach.

Sarfaraz was very good at the start of
his stint, but he also lost his way.

Inzi, Afridi & Misbah rebuilt the teams, each given the role almost after a new debacle.

Going back to 90s, other than WC '92 and C&U series '97 we don't have any major victory.

Major series victories in tests came against Eng and NZ.
Having said that, I still miss Saeed's batting, the Ws new & old ball spells, Saqi magic, Moin & Razzaq's late onslaughts.

Perhaps it was passion. Now it's passionless profession.

That's it. That's the thread.
