i've seen a lot of people saying that jess was a bad boyfriend so here's a thread about his and rory's fights in their relationship

episode 14, season 3.

in this episode rory is mad at jess because he shows up at dinner with a black eye and she thinks he got into a fight. he
literally did nothing wrong, cause he didn't got into a fight, but still she got mad at him and asked him to tell truth, wich he was doing. yeah he should've told her about the swan at some point, but she was also wrong, and it gets even worse when she asks dean if there was a
fight, instead of just talking to her boyfriend.

no. i'm not saying rory was a bad girlfriend, i'm just saying that jess wasn't that monster y'all say he was.

episode 15, season 3.

this is when jess forgets to call rory. in this one he actually was wrong, but rory and
lorelai act like forgeting to call is the biggest mistake ever. it was his first relationship, he really was trying and rory never actually told him that this hurted her, lorelai said some shit to him but rory didn't. she left that message already mad and
didn't gave him the chance to get better before it. but still, there he was waiting for her with the tickets for a concert.

episode 19, season 3.

here we are. at that episode.
the one at the party, where rory doesn't wanna have sex and then jess gets into a fight with
dean. yes, jess was wrong in this episode, but no, he didn't sexualy assaulted her. his head was a mess in with everything that happened and his biggest mistake was not talking to rory. as someone who has big trouble expressing how i feel and talking about my problems i get
why he didn't talk to her. but i still that know he was wrong, i'm just saying that i understand him. honestly i don't really think this was as big as people make it, but i feel that it had to be here.

episode 20, season 3.

this one. this is his biggest mistake. the one that
really hurted. when he left town without saying goodbye. again, even though i get why he just couldn't say goodbye, he did messed things up on this one.

as much as it was a huge mistake, it should never be compared to dean's abusive actions or everything wrong that logan did.
and i don't think we should just ignore what logan did on the revival, if it was something out of his character i would understand, but it wasn't. cheating on the woman his engaged to is something that logan of the original series would easily do and we all know it.
i'm sorry if i forgot about something, or said something different from what actually happened i am not with the time to rewatch these scenes at the moment but i felt like i needed to make this thread as soon as possible.
