1) Praying two units of Salaah on the first night of Nikaah, and the procedure of the supplication:

"Some of the Companions (may Allaah be pleased with them) prayed two units of salaah before having sexual intercourse with their wives on the first night.

2) But I know of no authentic Sunnah from the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) regarding this.

3) The Sunnah is to touch the woman on the forehead and ask Allaah for her goodness and the goodness of what she brings to him, and to seek refuge with Allaah from her evil and the evil of what is ordained for him.

4) And if he fears in this case that the woman may run away from him, he should touch her forehead, as if he wants to draw close to her and kiss her, then supplicate to Allaah with this supplication in secret...

5) ...so that she does not hear it, because some women might imagine something (bad) if they heard their husband saying, "I seek refuge with You from her evil and the evil of what is ordained for him", and say: 'Is there any evil in me?'
