NEW: Care Minister Helen Whately tells @skynewsniall:

Some NHS workers are being written to so they can be re-tested after concerns early #COVID19 tests were flawed.

Presumably this means some may have been given negative results and returned to work when they were positive?
. @Helen_Whately said: 'Some of the early tests... weren't effective enough.'

Follows @lauradonnlee & @journobill story in today's Telegraph.
Helen Whately unable to explain:
-What was on RAF plane which has arrived from Turkey with PPE.
-How many social care workers have had #COVID19 tests (although 18K 'referred').
-What the communications error was that led to UK missing early stages of a key EU procurement scheme.
However @Helen_Whately said govt is piloting 'mobile testing' and looking into home testing too.

Also claims that next week she hopes to have more up-to-date figures on care homes. Perhaps daily death figures as Matt Hancock says he wants?
