Virtual con planners: for many folks going to conferences, 'hallwaycon' and the bar (even if they don't drink) are where the real value of the conference lies. Chance meetings. Introductions from trusted old friends. New conference attendees being able to meet 'luminaries'...

Private conversations that pull away from larger groups. I know I'm missing some other important dynamics here. What I want from a virtual conference is attempts at recreating these aspects of conferences. Only having streaming talks interests me about as much as youtube does.
