In 2017, I gave out a carpentry job to someone, dimension was 3.5Ft x 3.5Ft. Production was supposed to be in 3 batches (3,000 units) so I monitored the 1st batch myself. This guy reduced 2nd batch to 3Ft x 3Ft & 3rd batch to 2.5Ft x 2.5Ft bcos I was out of town.

My client rejected the 3rd batch bcos the reduction was obvious & not up to the agreed dimension. I was contacted via email & I put a call across to the carpenter who also denied reducing the dimensions. Client rejected the supply, balance was pending, carpenter was lying!

When I came back, carpenter started begging (I guess he couldn't replace the 1,000 units from his purse to cover up). I took the products to my clients and we renegotiated. I lost N300k on that contract because of greed of another artisan.

Government is bad, what about "US"?
